Outreach Scholarships

Apply for a Native People Count California campaign scholarship to conduct Census outreach to your community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Outreach Scholarship Applicants must be:

A federally recognized tribal nation in the state of California or California-based native non-profit organization (verification will be requested); and

Able to meet the standard reporting requirements following events including:

• Submit number of people engaged;
• Submit screenshots, images, marketing pieces, presentation slides;
• Submit at least five (5) written quotes, testimonials, comments, video recording; and/or
• Work in collaboration with Native People Count CA team for continued outreach in your community.

Each California tribe or tribal organization is eligible for up to two scholarships.

Applications are available on a rolling basis until all scholarships are filled.
